Signal Jam
Signal Jam is a tactical uplink race for two squads, Alpha Squad and Beta Nexus. Each round, one team goes on duty: their Operator sees the clear transmission, an ordered sequence of targets, while their Runners stare at a jammed grid of lookalike tiles. Talking is forbidden. The Operator can only ping tiles and fire a single emoji per round, and the Runners must decode those crumbs to click the targets in the correct order before the 60-second window closes.
Wrong clicks burn 10 seconds each, completing the sequence banks 500 points plus a speed bonus, and after five rounds of alternating turns the squad with the higher total owns the frequency. Two or three players play it co-op instead: one squad, one shared score, and the Operator seat passing to the next player every round.

Rules of Engagement
- 01With 4 or more players, split into two squads of at least 2 players each; every operative joins Alpha or Beta and one player per squad claims the Operator role.
- 02With 2 or 3 players, everyone plays one squad together: the Operator seat rotates every round and the squad chases one shared score.
- 03Each round, the active team's Operator sees the target sequence in the clear; their Runners see only a scrambled grid of real targets mixed with decoy tiles.
- 04The Operator cannot talk. They guide Runners by pinging tiles and using exactly one emoji per round.
- 05Runners click tiles to lock targets in order. A correct click advances the sequence; a wrong click costs the team 10 seconds.
- 06Completing the sequence scores 500 points plus 10 points for every second left on the 60-second clock.
- 07Teams alternate across 5 rounds; the squad with the higher total score wins the operation.
Strategic Intelligence
- Operators: ping the current target right before Runners commit, not three tiles ahead, or the timing gets misread.
- Save your one emoji for the moment the Runners are genuinely stuck; it is the loudest signal you have.
- Runners: nominate one clicker and let the rest advise. Four cursors hovering the grid multiplies wrong clicks.
- Remember that wrong clicks cost 10 seconds each; a slow correct answer beats two fast guesses.
- Watch the opposing team's round closely. Their grid habits tell you how your own Operator is likely to signal.
Tactical Suitability
Built for groups who love communication-limited team games in the Decrypto and Codenames family but want something faster and more physical. It shines with 6 to 8 players on a call or in one room, and it is a favorite team-building module because the Operator role forces genuinely creative non-verbal signaling.
