Terms of Use
Last updated: October 1, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Game Night Central. By accessing or using our website, games, accounts, shop, memberships, feedback forms, support tools, or communication features, you agree to these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Age Requirement
Game Night Central is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. Do not use the service or create an account if you are under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Health and Photosensitivity Warning
A very small percentage of people may experience seizures, blackouts, altered vision, eye or face twitching, dizziness, disorientation, or other discomfort when exposed to flashing lights, rapid colour changes, or certain visual patterns. This can happen to people with no history of epilepsy or seizures.
Games, celebration effects, avatar frames, emotes, and other visual effects on Game Night Central use animation, colour changes, and moving imagery. Some games also embed third-party media, including YouTube music videos in Song Guesser, whose visual content is produced by third parties and is not controlled, reviewed, or modified by us.
Stop playing and consult a doctor if you or anyone playing with you experiences any of the symptoms above. If you or a family member has a history of seizures or epilepsy, consult a doctor before using the service.
You can turn animation, flashing, and looping motion off at any time using the Reduce Effects switch under System Settings in the account menu. It applies across the whole site, including inside game lobbies, and follows your account to other devices when you are signed in. See our Accessibility Statement for details and for how to report a barrier.
4. Accounts and Acceptable Use
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You agree not to misuse the service, disrupt games, exploit bugs, interfere with security, impersonate others, harass users, threaten users, groom minors, or use the service for illegal or harmful activity.
Users cannot upload files or custom media to Game Night Central. You may submit text through chat, feedback, support tickets, contact forms, tester applications, display names, and gameplay interactions. You are responsible for the text and actions you submit.
5. Site Materials and License
Game Night Central and its website content, game content, software, graphics, logos, shop items, preset avatars, and other materials are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for personal entertainment according to these Terms.
You may not:
- copy, sell, sublicense, scrape, mirror, or commercially exploit the service or its materials without permission;
- modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law allows it;
- remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
- use bots, automation, exploits, or unauthorized scripts to interact with the service;
- use the service in a way that infringes another person's rights.
6. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)
Players can put their own content on Game Night Central, such as drawings, chat messages, custom words, and names. If you believe something on the service infringes a copyright that you own or are authorized to act for, send a notice to us:
Game Night CentralEmail: support@gamenightcentral.net (subject: Copyright notice)
Your notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- a description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed;
- where the material is on the service, with enough detail for us to find it, such as a page link, a room code, or a player name;
- your name, postal address, phone number, and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable access to the material and let the player who posted it know.
Counter-notice. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include your physical or electronic signature; a description of the removed material and where it appeared before it was removed; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, and phone number, with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice. We restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive a valid counter-notice, unless the person who sent the original notice tells us they have filed a court action.
Repeat infringers. In appropriate circumstances, we close the accounts of players who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
Knowingly sending a false notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. 512(f).
7. Feedback, Tickets, and Communications
If you submit feedback, bug reports, support tickets, feature ideas, tester applications, or similar messages, you allow us to review, store, respond to, and use that information to operate, support, and improve Game Night Central. Do not submit confidential information that you do not want reviewed by our team.
8. Chat and Safety Monitoring
Game Night Central may provide direct messaging or other communication features so users can coordinate with friends. You agree not to use these features for harassment, threats, grooming, scams, spam, illegal activity, or sharing highly sensitive personal information.
To help protect users, messages may be stored, scanned by automated systems (including AI-based tools), flagged, reported, and reviewed by administrators. We may suspend, restrict, or remove accounts that violate these Terms or create safety risks.
Voice chat. Voice chat is optional, host-enabled, and available only in private rooms. The same acceptable-use rules apply to anything you say on a voice call. Voice audio is not recorded or stored, so unlike text messages it cannot be reviewed after a report; we may still act on reports, on the accounts involved, and on any other evidence available to us. Use Report Player in the lobby to report someone on a call: because the call itself cannot be reviewed, describe what happened as specifically as you can. A report records who was reported, who reported them, and which voice session it refers to, so repeat behaviour stays visible across separate reports. Do not record or redistribute other participants without their consent, and do not use voice chat to share sensitive personal information. Use the mute, deafen, and leave controls if a call becomes uncomfortable.
9. Payments and Merchant of Record
Our checkout is provided by Paddle.com. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases and may handle payment processing, tax, fraud prevention, refunds, and buyer support.
By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms, Paddle's Refund Policy, and Paddle's Privacy Policy.
10. Refund Policy and Virtual Items
Premium Nano Cores: Nano Cores are premium virtual currency used only inside Game Night Central. They have no cash value, are not a banked balance, cannot be transferred outside the service, and cannot be redeemed for money. Nano Core purchases are generally non-refundable once credited to your account, exchanged, redeemed, or used in-game, except where Paddle or applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
Common Credits: Credits earned through gameplay, conversions, promotions, or admin grants have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are non-refundable.
Digital gear and cosmetics: Virtual items, cosmetics, packs, boosts, titles, banners, effects, themes, and similar digital content are licensed to your account for personal use in the service. They are considered delivered when added to your account, unlocked by membership, or otherwise made available through the service.
Memberships: Memberships are recurring subscriptions. A membership renews automatically every month, and the monthly price is charged to your payment method until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Manage Membership in the shop. If you cancel a membership, the cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not automatically refund the month or billing period you already paid for. You will normally keep your paid membership benefits until the end of that paid billing period.
Refunds and purchase problems: Paddle is the Merchant of Record for paid purchases and handles payment-related refund decisions under Paddle's Buyer Terms, Paddle's Refund Policy, and applicable consumer protection laws. If something is not working, missing, duplicated, or charged incorrectly, you can open a ticket through the site and our support team will help review the issue.
Nothing in these Terms limits legal rights that cannot be waived, including rights you may have for faulty, unavailable, misdescribed, or legally refundable products.
We may change, rebalance, retire, replace, or remove virtual items, prices, features, games, memberships, rewards, and in-game economy values as the service evolves.
11. Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on Game Night Central may be affiliate links, including links to third-party marketplaces. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We aim to disclose affiliate relationships near affiliate links where practical, because a disclosure buried only in these Terms may not be visible enough when you decide whether to click.
12. Account and Data Requests
You may contact us through the Contact page for account, privacy, safety, support, or deletion requests. We may need to retain some records for security, fraud prevention, payment, tax, dispute, or legal reasons.
13. Disclaimer
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Game Night Central disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or loss-free data storage.
14. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Game Night Central and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Because Game Night Central uses service providers and database infrastructure that may operate in the United States, some disputes, data requests, or legal obligations may be handled under United States law or by authorities with proper jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection laws.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page unless a later effective date is stated. Your continued use of Game Night Central after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
